Welcome to Reception
In Reception we have two classes, taught by Miss Snape (RHS) and Mrs Kelly and Miss Spencer (RKS)
Mrs Kizielewicz and Miss Yapp are also part of the Reception team.
The classes share a purpose built reception unit. We believe learning from play is very important and encourage this through set areas linked to the EYFS curriculum across the unit. We have a large outdoor space, rich with learning opportunities.
Important Information
As part of our learning, children take home reading books daily. Please share these at home with your child; he or she will have a reading diary you can write in. Please ask if you ever need any support.
We have PE on a Wednesday. Please make sure that you have a PE kit as we are encouraging our children to dress themselves independently.
We have Forest School on a Thursday. Please make sure that your child has warm clothes and a set of spare clothes that they can change into if they get wet. Here are some pictures of us exploring Forest School!

Our Posts
We look forward to meeting all children from Wednesday 4th September. If you need more information about starting school, the office will be open from Monday 2nd September.
