Welcome to Year 6! We are the oldest children in our school and have responsibilities such as head boy and head girl, librarians, young translators and prefects. Our teachers are Mrs Ricketts, Mr Davies and Mr Hill.
In 2SR we are taught by Mrs Ricketts and Mrs McGorman and Mrs Stanley help us with our work. We are a happy, quiet and hard working class of children who enjoy learning and want to do the best we can.
In our classroom we take part in all of our lessons, from art to English, but something we all do a lot is read. We recently got some new books and we are all enjoying reading these. It’s not just reading we enjoy though, its every lesson!
In English we are focssing on the story ‘Ice Trap!’. In maths we are working on addition and subtraction, because without the basic maths skills we would be no-where.
The final thing I will tell you about in Year 6 is how we act in class. We are always on best behaviour in class or in the playground. We also try our best in every way possible, every day at school.
Thank you for reading about our class.
