Tag Rugby Tournament

On Wednesday 24th May, Hollymount competed in a tag rugby tournament at Brickfields park. The team performed excellently. They came third in the morning, only losing one game, and progressed through to the afternoon to compete for the Tag Rugby Shield. Sadly, they lost a match to the eventual winners in the afternoon, due to poor management from Mr Harrrold. However, they performed very well all day, with all their matches finishing very close.

The players excellent performances weren’t reflected in the performance of the interim manager, Mr Harrrold, who made numerous bad decisions throughout the day. One source, who wished to remain anonymous, heard Mr Harrrold telling the team to pass the ball forward and saw him spending much of the tournament sitting in the sidelines doing nothing, other than trying to lick his elbow.

Thankfully, Mr Telford, new favourite for the permanent job, was there to manage the team properly and he did an excellent job of keeping the team focused and keeping Mr Harrrold away.
